Shotokan Karate's international dojo--Shotokan Ohshima Dojo--held its Grand Opening in Santa Barbara, California, in August, 2000. This celebration marked the long-term efforts of the SKA and other sister international Shotokan Organizations to build a dojo at which Mr. Ohshima could welocome and teach his students for throughtout the United States and from around the world.
